This document outlines the ethics and conduct we operate with at For Blue and expect the same of our clients and collaborators.

1. Ethics

The minimum ethical standards for working together are:

  1. Personal integrity: acting with care, diligence and autonomy; making decisions that are honest, fair, impartial and timely; and considering all relevant information.
  2. Relating respectfully: treating people with respect, courtesy and sensitivity; and recognising the interests, rights, safety and welfare of people.
  3. Acting sustainably: considering the long-term effect of your actions, being responsible and accountable for achieving the intended benefits of an engagement or project.

2. Conduct

The minimum standards of conduct to operationalise the ethics are:

  1. Personal integrity

    1. be honest and truthful at all times,
    2. keep personal or other business dealings separate from dealings as a client and service provider, and consider the best interests of the project and both ventures top of mind,
    3. actively staying informed of the purpose, principles, policies and priorities of the client, partner or joint project,
    4. do not make promises or commitments you are not willing or able to honour,
    5. do not use the information and resources for personal financial gain or the benefit of any other person or business outside the contracted agreement.
  2. Relating respectfully:

    1. treat everyone equally, fairly, with courtesy and respect and respect their privacy,
    2. disclose fully and promptly any private of other business interests that may lead to potential or actual conflicts of interest,
    3. actively seeking to increase the cooperativeness, safety, diversity, inclusivity and effectiveness of the working relationship,
    4. do not discriminate on the grounds of people's race, religion, gender, marital status, sexual orientation or disability,
    5. do not disclose confidential information to third parties without consent.
  3. Acting sustainably:

    1. comply with all laws and policies and consider all significant risks,
    2. be mindful of resources you are using or entrusted with,
    3. actively considering new and innovative ways we can realise our purpose and deliver the intended benefits,
    4. protect and preserve the assets of each and all organisations, including intellectual property,
    5. report, encourage others to report, any instances of unlawful or unethical behaviour by clients, partners or collaborators.

3. Enforcement

The Managing Director or most senior accountable person in the organisation are ultimately responsible for the interpretation, application and enforcement of the Ethics and Code of Conduct.

  1. Complaints should be raised in writing to the Managing Director with a copy provided to the complainant,
